My Connected Community is a team of Developmental Educators. Our aim is to provide a genuine and personalised allied health service to children and adults. We are a disability-specific service with a focus on teaching skills which will support the independence and quality of life for people living with a disability. Our supports include working with caregivers and the community to increase knowledge, and develop genuine inclusive environments.
We do not believe in 'one size fits all'. Our supports will be designed with you, for your goals. We think the strength of Developmental Education is our capacity to be flexible and creative, and find the best way to support every individual.
My Connected Community celebrates diversity. We believe that the differences within our community are what makes it stronger. We welcome all people within our organisation - employees and clients - regardless of race, gender, sexual orientation, religion, age, disability, or culture.
We would like to acknowledge the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people as the Traditional Owners of this land where we live, work, learn and grow. We wish to acknowledge and show our respect for their Elders, past and present, for their continuing culture and the contributions they make to the life of our community, both now and in the past.
